Conscious Eating

 

Olga has been dedicated to plant-based cooking and mindful eating practices for several years, has worked and curated healthy and creative meals as a chef in upscale yoga retreat centers and is always creating new and nourishing inspiration for yogis and people who are curious about a healthy lifestyle.

 

She will guide us through mindful eating rituals and share her wisdom on conscious & delicious cooking and inspire our understanding of our belonging to nature by eating. Our daily cooking sessions with her will include stories, recipes, room for questions and tons of inspiration to take home for a plant-based diet. 

 

Eating is not just eating. Fasting for example, can be an integral part of a healthy digestion. Therefore, this retreat will include a mini-fast. On day 3 of the retreat, the intake of food will conclude with lunch - and we will do an intermittent fast until breakfast the next day. Olga will share her wisdom on plants and herbs and we will harvest hers from the garden to prepare our individual fasting teas. 

 

The fasting time will be a special afternoon and evening of resting time and connection time in nature and meditation practices.

The Yoga practice

 

Begin to feel the vast nature of your body and its intrinsic wisdom. Jana will share practices from traditional hatha yoga and somatic practices such as Body Mind Centering and Feldenkrais and invite you to explore:

 

- healthy movement patterns to support your yoga practice  

- understand and feel the anatomy of your breath and how it changes your practice when the breath leads

- how to connect with your inner wisdom and "gut intelligence"

deposit payments & cancelation terms

due to the current situation with more difficult travel planning & lesser income for a lot of people, we have adapted out terms to support you in still coming to join for our weeks of reconnection:

here's a deposit payment breakdown for a double room:
400EUR deposit (1) to Ocean & Yoga (due upon registration)
150EUR deposit (2) to Olho Branco (due 2 weeks prior to start of retreat)
remaining cash payment on arrival:
150EUR (minimum) - 445EUR (regular price) and anything in between, depending on your financial abundance or limitations
this makes the math for the full retreat price in double room:
700EUR (minimum) - 995EUR (regular price)
 
For single room bookings, we cannot offer the "You decide how much you pay" option. Your deposit (2) to Olho Branco is 200EUR.
 
For tent/camper van bookings, your deposit (2) to Olho Branco is 50EUR (own equipment: tent, mattress, sleeping bag) respectively 100EUR (rented equipment: tent, mattress, sleeping bag/sheets)
 
cancelation terms:
deposit (1) of 400EUR is fully refundable in case we have to cancel the retreat for any unforeseen reasons on Portugal’s side. We would also give you the deposit back if Portugal would change the entry regulations to anything more crazy than a negative PCR test (required as of March 2021) and if you are not willing to cope with regulations other than this. 
 
In the event that circumstances prevent you from traveling to the retreat on your country’s side (including flight cancelations) we share the risk with you and can refund 200EUR = 50% of deposit (1) back to you. And we will do so until the start of the retreat date!
 
The second payment, deposit (2) to the retreat location Olho Branco is now only due 2 weeks prior to start of the retreat at which point we will have certainty about the "go" for the retreat and current travel regulations. Deposit (2) is only refundable if Portugal would change any rules within these last 2 weeks prior to retreat start that make it impossible or unbearable to come - and if we therefore would have to cancel the retreat.
